Pastor Darrel W. Boson

Pastor Boson was born and raised in Houston, Texas. The call of God upon his life to be a leader in the kingdom of God was apparent from early childhood. He accepted God’s Call to preach the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ in 1995 at Outreach Baptist Church. Through the process of becoming the Word spoken by God over his life, he served in multiple capacities within ministry before pastoring.

Pastor Darrel Wayne Boson strives to live a life nourished by obedience to the Word of God. With an humble spirit and servant’s heart his life has been transformed by faith and he is willing to surrender to God’s will. He quickly found his niche in the kingdom and in 1999 Reverend Boson became the Youth Pastor at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Leroy Lacy.  Soon after Pastor Boson founded King’s Kids Apparel which designs clothing and brings awareness to the honor and blessings of being a child of the King.

In July 2015 New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, TX confirmed Reverend Boson as Senior Pastor. While leading the congregation Pastor Boson desires to develop a ministry that promotes spiritual growth, motivates, and challenges all to effectively apply the word of God in their lives. Pastor Boson and New Hope Missionary Baptist church affectionately known as “The 8650” have become a beacon of light throughout Sunnyside and the Houston community.

Through his submission to and exposition of the Word of God Pastor Darrel Boson continues to leave an indelible mark on the lives of those who seek the true and living God.
